P Partners

About Partners — Korea, Closer

Partners is a multilingual editorial site that curates vetted Korea travel experiences — tours, activities, and stays — through traveler-type personas rather than generic "Top 20" lists. We aim to answer the questions you actually have right before booking: "Is this family-friendly? What's the rainy-day alternative? Is the guide truly English-speaking?"

Who runs Partners

Partners is operated by a small editorial team based in Korea. Our lead editor has covered Korean travel content for over eight years, and is supported by collaborators handling SEO, UX, and multilingual curation. For more on our editorial principles and team makeup, see our editorial team page; for our review process, see our methodology.

How we make money — affiliate marketing partner

Partners is a MyRealTrip affiliate marketing partner. We earn a commission on bookings made through our recommendation links, which funds site operations, content updates, and translation. Commission rates do not influence what we recommend — products that don't clear our 4.6 rating cutoff or that have too thin a review sample are excluded regardless of payout. Every affiliate article carries a disclosure within the first 200 characters of the body so readers know up front.

Editorial principles

Every article we publish follows these standards.

  • Rating & review thresholds — We require ≥4.6 average rating and ≥100 reviews as the first-cut filter. Exceptions are clearly flagged in-line whenever a newly listed product (e.g. a new English-language guide service) uniquely fills a gap our readers ask about.
  • Honest cons, every time — Every recommendation includes 1-2 honest drawbacks. A list with only upsides is a list that doesn't help anyone.
  • Persona-matched — We tag every pick with which traveler types it fits best (first-timer, family, K-drama fan, foodie, solo, etc.) so you can scan to your situation.
  • Price spread — Each article balances budget, mid-range, and premium options instead of clustering at one price band.
  • Periodic updates — Every six months we re-verify pricing, availability, and rating signals, and refresh the article's updatedDate.

See our methodology page for the full review process, data sources, and conflict-of-interest disclosures.

Multilingual — translation is not the goal

Our Korean and English articles are not direct translations. Korean articles are written for travelers based in Korea (perspective from Seoul/Busan/Jeju starting points). English articles target the anxieties first-time visitors actually have — English-speaking guides, cancellation policies, foreign-card acceptance, transit basics — and try to resolve them on page one of the SERP. Even for the same city or activity, the recommended lineup and tone differ deliberately.
